The Management Board (MB) of the Employment Agency (ZZZ) adopted the Work Program for this year today.

"That document determined the measures and activities from the Action Plan for employment and development of human resources, and it was prepared in accordance with the Law on the State Budget for this year," the statement of the Institute states.

As stated, the institute, while planning its activities, took care to ensure that the unemployed and other jobseekers, in accordance with the identified needs, are provided with adequate support as defined by the Law on employment mediation and rights during unemployment.

"In this sense, this year too, special attention will be devoted to the preparation of the unemployed for inclusion in the labor market and programs of active employment policy," the statement added.

This year, the institute plans to implement a set of measures and programs for more than two thousand unemployed people.

"In order to increase employability and employment on the open market, through the programs, support will be intended for young people and people with insufficient and inadequate education, women, members of the RE population, beneficiaries of material family security, as well as people who have been registered as unemployed for more than 12 months", specified in the announcement.

This year, a set of novelties was introduced in the implementation of the active employment policy program with the aim of harmonizing them with European practice and qualitative improvement.

"One of the most significant novelties is that in the programs Training for work with an employer, Training for independent work and Incentives for self-employment, in addition to the funding of persons involved in the programs by the Institute, their funding by employers will be mandatory," the announcement states.

The Education and training program will cover at least 320 unemployed people, for which 170 thousand euros will be allocated.

The Self-Employment Training Program will include at least 230 unemployed people, and the volume of funding for this program is 784 euros.

The Institute will financially support the implementation of the program for independent performance of work by employers from the private and public sector, in the amount of 70 percent of the total funds for financing the program at employers from the private sector and 30 percent of the total funds for financing the program at employers from the public sector.

At least 415 unemployed people will be engaged through the program Training for work at the employer, for which 946 thousand euros will be allocated.

The institute will financially support the implementation of the program by employers from the private and public sector, in the amount of 80 percent of the total funds for financing the program at employers from the private sector and 20 percent of the total funds for financing the program by employers from the public sector.

The Incentives for Self-Employment measure will be implemented by awarding 500 euros in grants to at least 50 unemployed people, who will establish a form of economic activity, establish an employment relationship in it and, in accordance with the business vision of developing their own business ideas, open at least 15 new jobs.

"Grants for self-employment that can be awarded to one beneficiary amount to four thousand to ten thousand euros. At the same time, funds in the amount of up to three thousands of euros", the statement specifies.

Through the second measure, Incentives for employment, the eight-month subsidized employment of at least 20 unemployed people in jobs on the open market is planned, which could be sustainable even after the end of the subsidy period.

The volume of funds for financing this measure amounts to 100 thousand euros.

The Institute will financially support the implementation of the Program for eight months for a maximum of two participants with one program contractor, in the amount of up to 4,54 thousand euros per participant, or 568,07 euros per month per program participant.

As part of the Direct job creation measure, it is planned to engage at least 330 people from the Institute's records in temporary non-market jobs of public interest, in cooperation with employers.

"For the financing of this program, one million euros has been allocated, of which 70 percent will be allocated for the financing of the public works program of social contents, and 30 percent for the financing of the public works program of humanitarian, educational, ecological, communal, infrastructure contents, preservation of cultural and historical monuments and other content in areas of public interest," the statement added.

According to established practice, the Institute will strive to achieve the most successful cooperation with employers, providing them with numerous services.

When advertising vacancies for free, and based on the request of the employer, the Institute is directly involved in the search for candidates to fill the vacant position.

"Based on the detailed information from the request about the type of job, working conditions and candidate profile, the Institute will invite the unemployed and other job seekers, organize group information, i.e. individual counseling and carry out a preliminary selection of persons, i.e. the selection of persons that it refers to the employer for employment. In this sense, special attention, this year too, will be devoted to seasonal employment, i.e. to motivating employers to increase the number of requests for mediation, so that as many people from the unemployment register as possible will get the opportunity to work in seasonal jobs.
