Milena Vuković, president of the Club of Councilors of the Civic Movement URA in the capital's Assembly, said that the memorandum on joint cooperation between that party, the Movement for Change (PzP) and the Movement for Podgorica was not directed against anyone, least of all the mayor Olivera Injac.

At the press conference on the occasion of the presentation of the Memorandum on the joint further action of the councilors of GP URA, PzP and the Movement for Podgorica, she said that the Memorandum foresees that they will agree on joint actions and initiatives in the Assembly of the capital.

She pointed out that she will hold collegiums at least once a month, stating that the memorandum does not have the force of a coalition agreement.

"We will bring activities together, but we will not form a joint club, but continue separately".

Nađa Ljiljanić from the Movement for Podgorica said that the movement has no aspiration to leave the parliamentary majority, but that they want their political strength to be respected.

She pointed out that they were not looking for any positions, but to be represented in the authorities of the Capital City.

She pointed out that they want the unfilled positions to be filled through a competition and to select the best candidates.

Anika Bajić (PzP) said that they stand firmly on the foundations of the coalition agreement.

She pointed out that she was happy that three ladies presented the memorandum in front of their clubs.

Vuković said that it is too early to talk about whether this situation can be reflected at the state level.

She said that the aim of the memorandum signed by the councilors of GP URA, PzP and Movement for Podgorica is to unite knowledge, experience and energy and in this way make a key contribution to the development of the Capital City, as well as the fulfillment of pre-election promises made to the citizens.

"By signing the Memorandum, we committed to carry out all future activities in coordination, to agree on joint actions, joint public performances and initiatives within the Capital City Assembly," Vuković pointed out.

She said that she will intensify communication with the administration of the Capital City - the mayor and the deputy mayor, so that some of their ideas, initiatives and pre-election promises can be achieved more easily:

"Because they are the ones who represent us in administrative bodies".

She emphasized that all disagreements that might arise will be resolved amicably.

"We expect a constructive approach from all government officials, from all other councilor clubs, with respect that our next joint action implies the action of, for now, 11 councilors, which represents the largest block within the councilor majority in the Assembly", said Vuković.

Vuković, answering the journalists' questions, said that any kind of cooperation, especially the creation of a new majority with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), is completely ruled out.

She said that the programs of their parties are compatible, stating that they would not even enter into that story if it were not so.

Nađa Ljiljanić said that this is not post-election engineering, but the new reality must be accepted that the Movement for Europe now no longer has 13 councilors, but eight.

"Which means that he does not have the strength in the Assembly that he had. These five councilors who have their own Movement, of which I am also a part, expect their place in the parliamentary committees. Why are these parliamentary committees important? It is not a function, but a working body in which many things are defined before the Assembly", said Ljiljanić.

She pointed out that they are not looking for positions in the executive power, but they are looking for political responsibility.
