The Government's decision to introduce forced administration in Savnik, even though the Municipal Assembly fulfilled everything that was requested, is illegal and politically motivated, in order to satisfy the interests of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), announced the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
The DPS said that this decision showed that the parliamentary majority is managed by NSD leader Andrija Mandić, not Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
"And the Government shows day after day that it is only an instrument in his hands for the realization of the Chetnik duke's party and nationalist goals," says the DPS announcement.
As they stated from that party, such a decision legitimized the violence that made it impossible for the elections at two polling stations to be completed and created a dangerous legal precedent according to which any citizen of Montenegro can indefinitely interrupt the elections and permanently prevent their completion.
The DPS said that it does not agree to such, as they said, politically motivated legal fraud.
"We will not allow the legitimization of violence and the implementation of illegal decisions of the Government that destroy the constitutional order of Montenegro," the statement said.
