Legends of Croatian and Yugoslav basketball, Toni Kukoč and Dino Rađa, appeared tonight in Belgrade at the match between Partizan and Olimpijakos in the 32nd round of the Euroleague.
Kukoc's entrance to the field of "Štark Arena" took a long time, because many people stopped him in the corridors to take pictures with him, and when he finally made his way to the floor, he received a big round of applause from Partizan fans.
The reason for the visit is the Belgrade premiere of a documentary film about the former legend of the Chicago Bulls.
It was similar with the entry of Dino Radja, the former ace of Boston and numerous European clubs, who with Kukoc in the team, wearing the jersey of Jugoplastika, later Pop 84, was European champion three times in a row.
For Kukoč and Radja, the arrival in Belgrade is an opportunity to see friends and former teammates from the national team, Partizan coach Željko Obradović, sports director Zoran Savić, but also the president of the Basketball Federation of Serbia, Predrag Danilović, who met Kukoč in the parking lot of the hall.
They all shared the locker room when Yugoslavia won the gold medal at the 1990 World Championship in Argentina, when they won the gold medal at the European Championship in Zagreb in 1989.
