Atlanta basketball players beat Boston 123:122 in overtime tonight and achieved their fourth consecutive victory in the NBA league.
Dejonte Murray led Atlanta to victory with a career-high 44 points. He scored the winning basket 0,1 seconds before the end of overtime, and scored all 11 of the team's points in overtime. He also had seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals.
Bogdan Bogdanović contributed to Atlanta's second consecutive victory against Boston in the last four days with 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists, and Deandre Hunter with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Clint Capela added 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Murray's performance was uncertain due to a back problem.
"He never gives up. Never. Whenever I hear about his performance, I think - he's fine. He's fine," said Bogdanovic.
In the Boston team, Jason Tatum scored 31 points with 13 rebounds and five assists, Derrick White added 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists, and Kristaps Porzingis had 20 points and seven rebounds. Jaylen Brown had 18 points, of which he scored a basket six seconds before the end of overtime to give the Celtics a 122:121 lead.
Atlanta lost to Boston by 30 on Monday night, but managed to win 120-118.
Boston is the best team in the NBA with 57 wins and 16 losses and secured the first place before the playoffs of the Eastern Conference.
With 34 wins and 39 losses, Atlanta is in 10th place leading into the play-offs.
New Orleans basketball players beat Milwaukee 107:100. The Pelicans were led by Zion Williamson with 28 points and CJ McCallum with 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Trey Murphy added 15 points and 11 rebounds.
In the Milwaukee team, which suffered its second consecutive defeat, Janis Adetokumbo scored 35 points with 14 rebounds, Damian Lillard had 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds, and Malik Beasley had 20 points, including six triples.
New Orleans is fifth in the West with 45/28, and Milwaukee is second in the East with 46/27.
