On the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (STP), officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) together with their colleagues from the Anti-Crime Sector arrested today Vasilij Boljević (40) from Podgorica and Radovan Raš Vujović (38) from Budva, for creating a criminal organization but suspecting that they had role in the murder and attempted murder in Cetinje in 2019.
As the spokesperson and prosecutor Vukas Radonjić announced, a criminal complaint was filed against the two of them, as well as Ž.RMM and SV, who are inaccessible to state authorities, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization in Cetinje in 2019, for the purpose of execution criminal offenses of murder and aggravated murder.
"Vijesti" has learned that they are Željko Roganović (31), Miloš Mijanović (33) and Serbian citizen Srđan Vušurović (31).
The arrests were made in Podgorica and Budva, and the SDT stated that during the questioning of the suspects.
The Special State Prosecutor's Office has already filed an indictment before the High Court in Podgorica against 10 persons in this case, who are suspected to be organizers and members of a criminal organization.
And the Police Administration announced today's action in which Vujović and Boljević were arrested.
"Police officers of the Sector for Combating Crime in cooperation with the Special Police Department, by order of the special state prosecutor, implemented synchronized actions against five members of an organized criminal group operating in the territory of Montenegro, during which two persons were deprived of their liberty. while three persons are currently not in the territory of Montenegro", states UP.
The police announced that one person is a citizen of Serbia.
"In the early hours of the morning, searches were carried out at several locations on the territory of Podgorica, Cetinje and Budva," states UP.
According to the police statement, there are grounds for suspicion that the suspects Boljević and Vujović with Ž.R. (32) MM (33) from Cetinje, SV (31) from Serbia, as presented in the criminal report, committed the criminal offense under Article 401a of creating a criminal organization, i.e. became members of an organized criminal group during 2020, which aimed committing several serious crimes against life and limb.
"Suspect VB was deprived of his liberty during the action in the territory of Podgorica, while the person RV was deprived of his liberty in the territory of Budva, while in relation to the remaining persons, search measures and actions will be taken with the aim of locating and depriving them of their liberty," the police announced.
In the UP announcement, it is stated that the suspect SV was arrested in Podgorica at the end of 2020 and prosecuted, when a gun was found in his possession, and in relation to whom police-prosecutor measures and actions were taken and the thwarting of his intention to commit a serious crime in relation to one member of an opposing organized criminal group.
"After serving his prison sentence in 2021, SV left the territory of Montenegro," the announcement reads.
The police administration stressed that the officers of the Anti-Crime Sector in the coming period will continue a strong and determined fight against all forms of crime, with the aim of fully establishing criminal control over the activities of high-risk criminal groups and be a reliable partner to the Special State Prosecutor's Office, as a key bearer of the fight against organized crime. of crime and in accordance with the set priorities, resolutely and persistently carry out activities with a primary focus on neutralizing the activities of organized criminal groups and persons associated with them, with the aim of creating a favorable security environment for the citizens of Montenegro.
