President of the High Court Boris Savić he reported Vesni Medenici about the situation in several important cases, but he also reported when things "went on appeal" and negotiated paroles with her - for those convicted who were of interest to the then president of the Supreme Court.
Among the cases about which he reported to his then superior colleague via phone messages were the "coup d'état", as well as the one formed against a runaway banker. Duško Knežević, Đorđe Đurđić...
As it is written, they also dealt with the Budva case in particular, after the mayor barricaded himself in the building of the Municipality there on June 23, 2020. Marko Bato Carevic and his associates, and the police surrounded them. This was done after DPS briefly took power in that coastal municipality, thanks to the vote of an independent councilor Stevan Džaković. The DF and the Democrats said that they would not tolerate an illegal change of electoral will and that the Municipality would no longer be a "DPS fortress and a meeting place for crime and corruption"...
"God, there will be a bang, because they barricaded themselves," Medenica sent that day.
Savić replies that he is afraid that there will be more similar situations: "Then we will have a firmer foundation".
"I have a problem after a problem. How can you get them out now, and with the detention decision, justification for everything", says Medenica.
The President of the High Court then states: "Everything should be completed by the judiciary, and when we need support, we saw what we got".
However, she replies that "they are right here".
"Could they have been sent to Spuž within a few hours for a JRM (public order and peace) violation due to a road block?" asks Savić.
Medenica answers him briefly: "They are, but they are not"...
The two commented even after the coup d'état case "went" to the second-instance court.
"An 'attempted terrorism' has been filed according to appeals in the Appellate Court!", Savić sent to Medenica on December 6, 2019.
She initially only answers OK, then writes:
"You should let me know when you intend to send, now you have put me in an awkward situation".
Yesterday, Savić did not answer Vijesta's questions about whether he had communicated with the former president of the Supreme Court in accordance with the Law on Judicial Council and Judges, which is why he reported on the situation in certain, but not all, cases if it was his obligation and whether Medenica's requests influenced his independence and independence in decision-making.
"Hostaplers"
On April 30, 2019, he complained that in the case against Knežević and Đurđić, he and the prosecutor were requested to be disqualified.
"After rejecting several requests for adjournment, a request was submitted for the exemption of both me and the prosecutor, so as an urgent action I postponed it until 13/5 and will submit it to the Appellate and then to the Special."
"Hostaplers." Don't give...", writes Medenica to him.
“They made the mistake of asking for both. I can't treat either of us like this again, and repeating it would be an abuse of rights. Now, the question is whether I was allowed to schedule the hearing, but I stated that it was an urgent action, because if I hadn't obstructed the documents for the next hearing", writes the President of the High Court in Podgorica.
"Hearing, even if you exclude the second 'jumping in'", she writes, and Savić tells her that he said that.
A few days later, Medenica is interested in what happened, so Savić repeats to her: "Well, I told you that they asked for both exemptions and that I postponed it for a while, although it is debatable whether I was allowed to"...
They discuss the same case on May 13 of that year, when he tells her that he will confirm the indictment against the accused banker.
"I have finally finished this hearing for Duško Knežević, tomorrow I will write a decision confirming the indictment", he writes.
"Well done," she replies.
"Is there anything to extend his detention Jovićević from Cetinje. I already asked you once (min. Bogdanović is interested)", Medenica wrote to the president of the Podgorica High Court on July 10, 2020.
A few days later, they were also interested in "what is being done with the bail for Bigović”, so Savić answers her:
"There is still no answer for Bigović. Aida he's coming tomorrow to make sure it's not in the post office. I will see about the other one now", writes Savić on August 18 of that year.
The second person they mention is the recently killed skaljarac Edmond Mustafa, whose release from detention was requested from Medenica by the assistant director of the Police Administration at the time Zoran Lazovic.
The files at the disposal of the Special State Prosecutor's Office also include messages that Medenica and Savić exchanged continuously from 2018 until the arrest of the former president of the Supreme Court.
In November 2018, the president of the High Court in Podgorica informed Medenica that he would make a decision in the case she was interested in as soon as he received the security assessment from the prison.
"The security assessment from Ziks has not yet arrived, as soon as the council arrives the next day", he sends, and a few days later he informs her that the permit has been handed over to the lawyer Drazen Medojević.
"It says here that the proceedings against the bank are terminated. Here, it is against legal entities that have accounts in the bank, not the bank!!!", Savić sent her on December 12 of that year.
Medenica answers him only briefly: "OK".
Two days later, Savić informed her that "it has already been done and signed, now we will call the driver from Kotor", and on December 21 of that year, Medenica was also interested in the status of the parole case. Željko Ajković.
"Has there been an opinion from the prison for the parole of Ajković Željko?"
“I just thought I'd send a message that we were reporting now. He should be out by the new year," Savić replies to her.
A few days later, Medenica asks him, "Is the indictment against Radulović confirmed?", and explains that the journalists are asking her about it.
"They ask us all the time and we answer that it has been brought, but according to the rules of procedure, we are not allowed to announce it until it is made and shipped, it has not been shipped yet. For your information, we should confirm it," he replies to her on December 26.
"There is a well-founded suspicion as a house from the testimony of the associate witness," he explains.
At the end of January 2019, Savić informed Medenica that they had changed a decision:
"We changed," he sent on January 24 of that year.
"Great", was the answer he got.
Correspondence between Medenica and Savić shows that the president of the Supreme Court often made requests to the head of the High Court in Podgorica, and on April 15, 2019, she sent him:
"On Friday, you received the proposal for the abolition of probation".
Savić replies that it is not on his table yet: "As soon as we make a decision, I will let you know. It has to pass the declaration of SDT first".

At the end of February 2020, Medenica criticized the decision of the investigating judge Miroslav Bašović - not to order detention for the accused for the most serious crimes Mario Milošević.
"Because Bašović did not order the detention of this Milošević. Why don't you follow it. This is bruka," she sends on February 26.
Savić apologizes to her that he has been trying to get a colleague for two hours, but that Bašović is not answering.
“Those fools. You must finally take measures to verify his expertise," she tells him.
Some time later, he received an explanation from Savić.
“Here I found him. The only evidence cited by the prosecution is the DNA on the bills used to purchase the vehicle. And apart from his, there is also the DNA of other persons that they do not mention. We will see in the appeal process, but this is thin".
Press and polygraph
Medenica and Savić commented and made a strategy after Duško Knežević accused him of corruption, claiming that the President of the High Court and the former VDT Ivica Stanković secretary in VDT Nenad Vujosevic carried money for corruption.
"Here's to hanging out with Nena!!!!!", she sends.
"He didn't say anything incorrect. The procedure for guaranteeing a mortgage is like that, and I tell everyone who is interested," explains Savić.
He also writes to her on October 7, 2019 and asks her when they can be heard: "About this one on Instagram".
"Well, at the end, he says that the revenge for issuing a search warrant is the announcement that Neno was carrying money to me and Ivica. I will accept what you say, but I really think that you should immediately press the conference and clearly say that it is a lie, offer a polygraph and ask what will happen", he sends.
Medenica replies that she will call him when he is in the courthouse.
"Ok, if you accept, I would like the press as soon as possible", he writes, and a little later he reports to the boss how it went.
"I said what I thought, I didn't sweat, I think it's OK," he writes to her.
"I'll see and I'll make a comment," Medenica replies.
Chaos is here for you, and you are across the pond
In mid-January 2019, Medenica sent a message criticizing Savić for the "chaos" in the court while he was on the road.
"This is chaos. You had to arrange for the judges to do their job. Shame," she wrote to him on January 15.
"Everybody got assignments. Turns out Piper is engaged and can't Raco. And Lidija can wait, because that warrant is not urgent. Malo and Suzana are panicking unnecessarily," Savić replies.
"There is no need, and at least no conditions for waiting. I didn't even look at Suzana. It is easy to make assessments across the pond!!!!!", the President of the Supreme Court tells him.
Savić excuses himself that he will "take matters into his own hands".
"Now I will call her and take matters into my own hands," he sends, and a little later: "I realized that she had an appointment at 13:00 p.m. And that the only problem is that warrant".
Medenica, however, explains that this is not true: "She didn't have an appointment, but I'm going to call her now because it was Special".
The President of the High Court writes that he agreed on everything with his colleague before the trip: "We agreed on everything about the proposal, me and him before the trip, and with Rac, but Piper's engagement disrupted that for me," he excuses himself.
"Respect Suzanne"
At the beginning of 2019, Medenica asked Savić to "respect" Suzana Mugoša's request not to be his deputy for that year.
"Boris is calling from Vienna. I was in communication with Suzanne in your absence. I supported her reasoning that she should not be your deputy for this year. Please honor her request," she wrote to him on January 23.
Savić replies that he accepts, but has an explanation:
"I accept, but I told her that it will be interpreted as an act of mistrust by those who are not ours. I planned Dragica if I had to?".
"We will not move the courtroom to the Assembly"
In the middle of 2019, Medenica and Savić also discussed the invitation they received from Ivan Brajović through the then president of the state parliament, so she tells him that she is not going to the Assembly by chance.
"Good morning. I received an invitation from Ivan Brajović to attend the Assembly session tomorrow at the request of Milutin Đukanović regarding the consideration of the SS report on the state of the judiciary? I didn't understand if it was today or tomorrow, but I'm still in Skopje today, although even if I'm there I have nothing to do there. I said on the phone that I am not here today and that I am not in charge, but I have a dilemma whether to respond in writing?", he writes to her.
"Not under any circumstances. It is known who defends the Report. They called me too. We will not move the courtroom to the Assembly," Medenica replies.
Savić is interested in whether he should keep quiet, or inform Brajović in writing that he will not come, so he receives an instruction:
"Shut up, I'll call him today," she sent him on June 13, 2019.
Extradition custody for Sinđelić was set last night," Savić writes to Medenica on July 2, 2019, and she replies, "That's right"...
The case was resolved on August 15th, sent to the parties, the attorney was on vacation, so it went on appeal two days ago, it was sent back for translation and went to the Appellate Court again this morning. No one asked for access to the files, there is nothing controversial about the multiple convictions," reported Savić on September 8, 20.
